Lectures
9 main topical lectures (3 hours each) devoted to the present understanding of the field; in addition a few shorter contributions focused on salient results or original approaches (overall 30 h). The course will provide a review of the state of the art of each sub-field using a non-specialist language adequate for a multidisciplinary audience.
Audience
Scientists, industry researchers and PhD students in the relevant fields. We also target non-specialists with a background in tribology and materials science.
