— September 1977 Join « Laboratoire de Physique de la Matière Condensée » at Collège de France (directeur P-.G. de Gennes), in the Polymer group.
— January to July 1977 Post-doctoral stay at ESPCI in L. Monnerie’s laboratory to learn about physical chemistry of polymers. February 1976 Second thesis (Doctorat d’état) in physics (T.H.). Title of the thesis : « Experimental investigation of elastic and dynamic properties of different liquid crystal phases”, under the supervision of P-.G. de Gennes.
