SUMMARY:Miguel Monteverde I Doped twisted stacking faults in graphite systems and hints of superconductivity
DESCRIPTION:\nMiguel Monteverde, LPS Orsay Université Paris Saclay\n\n\n\nSince graphene discovery in 2005, more complex stacked structures such as twisted bilayers  showing a Moiré superlattice has started being realized and recently (2018) the topic has attracted renewed interest with a wide collection of different twisted stacked structures. Rich physics arise from these systems including ferromagnetism, superconductivity and correlated insulators which seems to be originated from the appearance of flat bands at the Fermi level due to these Moiré superstructures.\n\n\n\nIn this presentation I will address how we have achieved to synthesize macroscopic samples of a collection of doped twisted stacking faults in graphite, how this system differs from traditional nanofabricated twisted stacked structures and why these systems are worth to be studied. In particular, I will focus in superconductivity hints in these systems.\n\n\n\nY.
