Based on an observation about the lack of representation of women in science, a group of students wanted to draw attention by temporarily renaming the amphitheaters of the Ecole Polytechnique with scientific women personalities.
As part of this action, one of the amphitheaters has been renamed after Dominique Langevin, research director at the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides. This initiative fully honors her contributions and her involvement in research, and also contributes to the scientific influence of our laboratory.
