Théo LENAVETIER joins the LPS as a lecturer within the Soft Matter at Interfaces (MMOI) team

Théo LENAVETIER

The Laboratoire de Physique des Solides (LPS) is pleased to welcome Théo LENAVETIER as a lecturer within the Soft Matter at Interfaces (MMOI) team.

Originally from the Manche region in Normandy, Théo Lenavetier studied at ESPCI Paris-PSL before specializing in soft matter physics with a master’s degree at ENS Paris. He then completed his PhD at the Institut de Physique de Rennes, where he worked on liquid foams and specialized in the study of interfacial flows.

He continued for two years as a postdoctoral researcher at KTH in Sweden, within the fluid physics laboratory, where he studied Marangoni stresses at the surface of liquid-infused materials. He now joins the LPS as a Lecturer within the MMOI team.

At LPS, he aims to explore new questions around interfacial flows, combining fluid mechanics, statistical physics, and physical chemistry. To do so, he will develop an approach that blends experiments and analytical theory.

We wish him a warm welcome and great success in his research!
